He was originally supposed to inhabit the body of Cyberoid ZZZ but abandoned it due to the need of a stronger will. However, before he died, Roidmude 004 appeared to copy his data for Banno. Krim resolved to stop them by using contingencies including the equipment used by Drive, but his mansion was attacked by the first three Roidmudes, and he was mortally injured by Roidmude 002. The Roidmudes soon went out of control and began harming humanity. "I can't die.I won't die yet! I can't leave these guys on the loose!" ―Moments before his death Horrified by the sight of what his colleague was doing, he declared that their friendship and partnership were over, and when Banno attempted to convince him to change his mind, he yelled "SHUT UP!" before leaving in disgust. Krim and Banno hit a dent in their partnership after Banno had made Roidmude 002 take on the form of an investor who had refused to funding his research, in order to enact his fantasies of torturing the person who defied him. Krim assisted his friend and lab partner Tenjuro Banno in developing the Roidmudes, and powered them with the Core Driviars when they hit a wall in their development. He was also an avid collector of vintage cars, possessing a massive collection of them in what would later become the First Drive Pit. Krim Steinbelt was a scientist who created the Core Driviars for the Shift Cars and Tridoron.
